Product features

  • Scanstand is the number one solution and ideal aid for scanning, cataloging, and price checking your trading card collection quickly and efficiently.
  • Our nested design allows for convenient storage and travel. Complete setup or teardown in seconds! Simply slide out the card chute from the phone holder, rotate and interlock the two parts, then place your smartphone atop and orient your camera as needed.
  • A removable door allows you to easily pull rare cards from the pile while scanning without hassle. The tray where cards land features a tilted bed which puts the cards slightly off level, allowing them to fall and stack evenly while maintaining a sufficient viewing angle for your camera. Receptacle accommodates approximately 130 unsleeved standard size cards (2.5 x 3.5" or 64 x 89mm).
  • Use with ManaBox, TCGplayer, and other card scanning phone apps. Phone mount is fixed at an ideal height for scanning, made wide enough for stability and universal compatibility across makes & models.
  • Made in the USA! Professionally 3D printed in Las Vegas, NV by experts in the trade using PLA, an eco-friendly plastic. Colors may slightly vary depending on available material. Use in a well lit area with ambient or indirect light for best results.

Scanstand is an all-in-one portable solution for TCG scanning. Quickly and efficiently scan, catalog and price check cards at home or on the go using ManaBox, TCGplayer or similar apps (not included; eligible smartphone with compatible software required for use). Make tracking your sets and decks a more enjoyable experience.

To start, remove the chute by pushing it out of the holder. Rotate the frame 90 degrees then re-insert the box perpendicular to the frame and interlock them in the designated position. An angled notch at the bottom tells how to orient the two parts. Place your phone atop and adjust as needed based on the position of its camera. It is best to have your scanner app open during this process and use the associated viewfinder as a guide.

Now you're ready to roll! Start throwing cards in with a flick of the wrist. If cards get stuck or don't travel the whole way, static buildup may be the culprit. Reduce cling by wiping down the ramp with a lightly damp cloth—allow to dry before use. If the problem persists you may need to use a tad more muscle or work on your aim. Alternatively, if it sounds loud every time a card hits against the plastic you may be using unnecessary force and potentially causing damage to the edges of your cards. Start light and dial up your strength as needed until cards fall into the receptacle with ease.

For best results use in a well lit area with ambient or indirect light. Optimal conditions may differ based on your phone's camera and the selected app's recognition software. If trouble arises while scanning holographic, foil or otherwise highly reflective cards we recommend a simple diffuser (e.g. a sheet of paper) to block excess light.

3D printed in the United States using an eco-friendly plastic, your purchase will help support our small business and contributes to a greener domestic manufacturing on demand model that works to prevent overproduction and eliminate commercial waste.

Important Story!
Format: Hardcover
12 year old Nimra is thrilled when her parents suggest she transfer to public school, which means she'll finally be with her best friend, Jenna. When Jenna acts strangely about Nimra's hijab on their first day, Nimra is desperate to prove she can fit in. Even though her family doesn't approve of music, Nimra joins a boy band, hoping their popularity will help repair her friendship with Jenna. She doesn't intend to remain in the band after she wins Jenna back, but the boys enter them in a fundraising benefit. Nimra's web of lies grows until she finally has to face what she's done––and figure out who she is at home and at school. A lovely story about a girl torn between her religion and the trials of middle school, this book is a recommended read.

Sweet story
Format: Hardcover
This is an enjoyable, lightweight story, perfect for middle school students. The child I bought it for is from a different culture than that depicted, and for her it was a bridge-builder in terms of helping to find commonalities and differences. It was a fun experience--effortless learning, the best kind! For others, it may be useful to see themselves reflected in the young heroine, but I can't speak to whether they will find the mirror accurate. For my reader, the conflict felt real and relatable - who hasn't experienced feeling different and excluded? And she was captured beginning to end.

excellent middle-grade novel
Format: Hardcover
This story of a muslim girl in the US and her school friends and ordinary dramas is a great addition to school libraries or public libraries and also for girl readers 9-12 or so. It's wonderful that we are getting novels about people from other faiths that are aimed at mainstream readers. It is so important for kids to read books about people from other backgrounds as well as for those from those backgrounds to have books in which they see themselves reflected. Well done!

Vampire Fantasy
Format: Kindle
Following Val through this adventure of trying to find her place in the world while cultists are literally trying to get her, made me feel like I was on the edge of my seat. I also love the idea that vampires/werewolves(peak at Roving Darkness and the Druids Destiny) are just living everyday life like humans. This book made me wish I was living in this world because it felt so real. Its also very sapphic

enjoyable cozy urban fantasy
Format: Kindle
Getting kidnapped by her cult-leader grandfather and held chained for other a month is not a pleasant experience. But when Vedalia's (Vel) aunt comes and rescues her, things start to take a turn for the better. Especially when said aunt is a vampire, who is married to a witch, and they're giving her a new start at life. This story is very much a cozy urban fantasy. There is actions and threats (as her grandfather doesn't know when to give up), but not a lot of angst (not a bad thing at all in my opinion ^^). The focus of the story is very much on Vel as she adapts to life with her new found family, and makes new friends. There is romance in the story, and it's cute - they make an adorable couple. But there is a lot more going on as well. It is an enjoyable read that is well written and paced well, and I definitely appreciate the queer representation that is in the story. The main threat is wrapped up well, and I certainly would be interested in seeing more of the characters, and Vel growing more into what she has been given. Happily devoured and I look forward to reading more by her.
